I'm Sandra Dee

First of all, you all should know I'm writing under pressure. Ester wants me to update the blog and I love her so much that I've decided to cheer her up and do it.

Life's still pink and water bubbles are always following me around. I've met new weird people since the last time I wrote here and I love them!

Seriously, and even though it's gonna sound like a cliche, life is smiling at me for once and I am so so so grateful for that because she has been being a total bitch for a very long time.

Film Institute is a marvelous place where I am learning a lot (today, for example, I've been burnt after learning to shoot...what a moment! I'm crazy for God' sake, I've saved the bullet). But, I am still in touch with theatre thanks to Cave Canem^^ the play we are opening next month.

However, I miss my piquitrustis so much so much so much :(

Well, I'm done, I must do my homework :( merry Christmas to all of you and, remember: the three chubbies are better than santa!

BACK FROM THE CITY

One more time, the meeting with Manhattan has been amazing; from the landing to the take off. Although this is my third visit to NY, this one may has been the most special; we even had to face a hurricane (the wellknown Irene). Besides, I had the opportunity to do yoga in Bryant Park, looking right up to the Empire Estate Building; an image that I won't erase from my mind in the very next future ^.^

(sigh) ...only 12 months to return.

I've just returned from Ribadesella, the town where part of my family lives and where I've been spending my summer holydays during the last years. It's with no doubt a magical place and the best one to give one's mind a rest.

Now it's time to think on the photo shoot I'm having next tuesday and the clothes I will pack for my trip to NYC ❤

I've been accepted in the "Modern Languages" degree. It made my day. 

As I told some of my friends I was feeling confused, a mixture of happyness and sadness at the same time. University means we are chosing the way we want to follow the rest of our lifes (maybe we'll find along the years that we made a wrong decision, maybe not). The point is that our ways are going to be separated from now, and that's what really scares me. I'm afraid of being separated from those whom I have been since I was three, of having different timetables that make impossible to hang out or whatever. Nevertheless, I am ready to get this boat, to make new friends, to travel alone, to be alone if necessary and definitely to grow up.

After eating in an indian restaurant we decided to have a walk around the center. As we were tired of shopping we stopped at a coffee shop where we asked for the most tasty smoothie I've ever tried (yoghurt+wild berries). I finally bought a pair of leopard print flats and Luis gave me a pencil case from Fun&Basics as a pre-university present. I'm pretty sure it will bring me the luck I need :)

I like travelling, I'm in love with New York and in two months I'll be a university student. I've been studying drama since my memory works (or wants to work), I got a tattoo from a Shakespeare's quote and I find the calm by developing black-and-white photos in the lab. In other respects, I'm not too weird, even though Shelby says the contrary.
